The York University Staff Association (YUSA) participated in the 2025 Labour Day Parade in Toronto on September 1. In recognition of its 50th anniversary, YUSA was placed near the front of the parade. Dozens of YUSA members, family and friends came out to participate. Special thanks to everyone who helped organize a terrific event.
Labour Day is not only a celebration of the dignity of work and the contributions of our members, but also a reminder of the importance of workers’ rights, public education, social justice, and economic democracy in building a fairer society.
