Pandemics involve global grief and uncertainty. Whether we’ve suffered infection, loss or restriction, we’ve been stressed and lessened by factors beyond control.
Now there is a possible ‘fall recovery’.
Mindfulness provides ways of making peace with body and mind – and gathering strength for what lies ahead. Strong evidence supports beneficial effects on the immune system.
In the ten session mindfulness meditation group, we will train in shamatha, vipassana and loving kindness methods guided by neuroscience and clinical science.
Fees for this program are reimbursable through extended health plans with coverage for psychological services.
