Sick Leave & Personal Time: 1.5 days per month, 3 paid personal days per year.
Health & Dental: 100% coverage for prescriptions, routine dental, and paramedical services (subject to specific limits).
Pension Plan: York matches your contributions 1:1.
Tuition & Development: Tuition Fee Waiver for you, your spouse and dependent children, $1,250 external training fund for YUSA members.
Union Dues & Budget
YUSA union dues are 1.5% of salary, funding bargaining, grievance representation, legal services, training, and operations. 10% is allocated to the strike fund. Members can provide budget feedback at the Budget meeting or Annual General Meeting or via email: treasurer@yusapuy.ca.
