The YUSA 2024 budget will be presented on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. We will have two presentation sessions, and members can attend either at 12:10 p.m. or 1:10 p.m.
This year, the budget meeting will be held in a hybrid setting. Virtual sessions will be hosted on Zoom, with mandatory registration to participate, or in person at the Dr. Robert Everett Senate Chamber. All members who have registered for the meeting will be sent a Zoom link with a code to attend.

Zoom information is as follows:
Registration is required to partake virtually. The deadline to register virtually is 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 15th, 2024. All members who have registered for the meeting will be sent a Zoom link with a code to attend.

As per the YUSA Constitution, the proposed budget will be presented to the membership at these meetings. Approval of the budget shall be by means of an electronic vote and passed by a majority (fifty percent plus one) of votes cast.
Voting instructions:
E-voting will be open from July 17th (8:00 a.m.) to July 21st (4:30 p.m.).
An external company called Simply Voting will be handling the voting. All members will receive an email from Simply Voting containing a unique User ID and password. The email will be sent from the following address: vote@simplyvoting.com.
Please ensure you watch for this email to access your E-ballot. The results of the E-vote will be announced on the YUSA listserv and website after the voting period closes. For questions regarding your voting eligibility status, contact the Nominations Committee at nominationscommittee@yusapuy.ca.
At the meeting, there will be an opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A session. You can also send your questions in advance to treasurer@yusapuy.ca.
