This 1978 video created by the National Film Board of Canada, named “Operation Finger Pinky,” is a comedic, fictionalized account of the three-year struggle waged by the office staff at York University to form a labour union in 1975. The film is based upon a play written and enacted by the Theatre Passe Muraille. The film caricatures stock situations between employee and employer.
Our apologies for the poor video quality.
