It’s time to get moving! The Lunchtime Fitness Program is back for the fall and has expanded to include our Markham Campus! YUSA members are encouraged to take advantage of our FREE drop-in fitness classes to get active, take a break from the workday, or try something new. Your participation this fall will also help us evaluate the program and plan for 2027, so now is a great time to join a class and get moving!

The York University Staff Association (Association du Personnel de L’Universite York) represents over 2,000 workers at York University in Toronto, Ontario. YUSA was founded in 1975 and has brought about improvements in the working conditions, job security and benefits of its members through fair wage standards, opportunity for advancement, uniform job classification with equal pay for work of equal value, for all employees.
YUSA is a proudly independent labour union that stands for progressive values, social justice, diversity, equity and workers’ rights. We are an active member of the Confederation of Canadian Unions, the largest affiliation of independent unions in the country. YUSA is a bottom up, participatory, and democratic organization where everyone has a voice. Because everyone matters.
